Week Of March 17, 2024

Quote of the Week

"Your talent determines what you can do. Your motivation determines how much you are willing to do. Your attitude determines how well you do it." - Lou Holtz

Verse of the Week

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6

The Power of Breathing

The basic idea of breathwork is to release toxins and stress when you breathe out and nourish your mind and body when you breathe in.

In an effort to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and de-escalate and de-stress, we practice this in the studio before each class.

This leads to a ton of positive feelings and emotions as it also aides with our focus and energy, which can lead to joy, fun and an overall better quality of life according to functional and integrative medicine specialists Melissa Young, MD.
