Determining Your Budget for Your Wedding

Over the years I am unable to tell you the amount of times that I have consulted with couples and when asking the question of "what's the overall budget" the answer being one of the following:

They are not sure.
They do not have one.

Words of Wisdom

If your budget has not been determined, you and your fiancé need to sit down with one another and have an open conversation about your finances. Ask yourselves how much can you each afford to contribute. Dive deeper and determine how much can you both afford to save during the months leading up to your wedding.

Bonus Tip

If your parents have committed to contributing, have the conversation with them to determine the dollar amount of their contribution.
